COURSE DESCRIPTION

This is a Tantra course that teaches beginner through intermediate Tantra information and techniques. It is also a transformative experience, which awakens consciousness and love on the deepest levels. Learn 22 Tantra Techniques that will transform your sexual love life into one of ecstatic pleasure, harmony and deep emotional connection! No prior knowledge or experience is necessary. There is no nudity in the seminar. The at-home Saturday night practice is optional.

Tantra: The Art of Conscious Loving workshops provide the education we never had and always needed in order to have wonderful, real and lasting love, and to rediscover the full potential of our sexual energy. "Rather than a 'touchy-feely' course about sex, Tantra: The Art of Conscious Loving is a spiritual yet practical guide to being present and intimate with the most important person in your life. Sure there was a lot of discussion of sex, but only in the context of celebrating yourself, your partner, your love and of life itself...this should be required learning for all people."

Teachers

Charles Muir is considered the originator and Pioneer of the Modern Tantra Movement in the United States. In 1980, he originated the Tantra: The Art of Conscious Loving® format, Sacred Spot Massage, and many other inventive experiential exercises, which have become the cornerstones in the curriculum of most Tantra educators. 

In addition to Red Tantra practices, Charles teaches a powerful method of White Tantra, or Laya Yoga, which is the grandfather of Hatha Yoga. Charles is also quoted in over 140 books in print on Tantra, relationship, sex, and yoga.

The California workshops are co-taught by Christy Rose Muir

Christy began her quest for authentic self-knowledge 15 years ago when she began practicing Shivananda Yoga, meditation, and studying the Bhagavad-Gita. In the years that followed, she earned certifications in Massage Therapy, Reiki, Holistic Psychology and Life Coaching. Christy has traveled to India on a spiritual pilgrimage, visiting 20 cities and various temples and holy sites. In 2013, she began studying Tantra Yoga with the Source School of Tantra Yoga, and has achieved its highest level of Certification. Christy is also a Certified Yoga Teacher, a Blue Belt Nia Instructor, and has trained in Russian Kettlebells and Functional Movement. She holds a B.A. in Sociology from the University of California, San Diego.

The New York seminar is taught by Lauren Harkness.

Lauren is a trained Tantrika and Advanced Certified Tantra Educator with Charles Muir’s Source School of Tantra. She also studied Lafayette Morehouse practices and is trained in the D/s arts and Shamanism with Om Rupani, Somatic Experiencing with Peter Levine, and is a Mastery Graduate of Mama Gena's School of Womanly Arts. A jewelry designer and seductress, Lauren is a stand for everyone ready to heal and further ignite their sexual self, sovereign and free!

She teaches Tantra and other modalities of healing and personal growth.

She also offers private Tantra Sessions, Coaching Sessions, and Reiki Healing Attunements.

She teaches large group classes internationally and has taught at Burning Man, FYN, Dark Odyssey, and is the Co-Founder of The Tantra Institute of NY.

CLASS SCHEDULE

FRIDAY: Please arrive at the workshop location by 6:15, so that you have time to check in, present your negative Covid Test, and get comfortable in the space for a 7:00pm start on Friday night. Class will end around 10:30pm. We will keep the singles after class for a half hour for orientation after dismissing the couples.

SATURDAY: Class will start promptly at 10 am. There will be a two hour lunch break roughly between 1:30 - 3:30 pm. Class will end at 8:00 pm so you have time for home-play. Choosing a partner for home-play is optional for singles. If you have young children at home we recommend organizing child care for the evening so you can have this special time for yourself.

SUNDAY: Class will start promptly at 10 am. There will be a two hour lunch break roughly between 1:30 - 3:30 pm. We close the class with a special ritual by no later than 9 pm.

WHAT TO BRING:

• Your Negative Covid Test Result (See Below for More Info)
• Bed pillow for comfort and to be used as props for some of the exercises.
• Your favorite personal refillable water bottle and/or insulated hot beverage mug, both with tight-fitting lids. This helps us tread more lightly on Mother Earth.
• Dress for comfort. Yoga type clothes seem to be the best with layers for cool and warm weather.
• We encourage you to bring the following items to beautify your room: candles/matches, flowers, and personal sacred items.
• Please refrain from smoking or wearing perfume during the workshop due to the prevalence of allergies/sensitivities.

CTE Assistants:

If you are a Certified Tantra Educator (CTE) and have successfully completed Levels 1, 2, or 3 you are eligible to assist at any of the beginner weekend workshops for $125. Please contact the local coordinator to make sure there is space for you before you register.

COVID PROTOCOL: Thank you for working with us to make this event as safe as possible.

#1. In regards to vaccinations/masking/social distancing, we will follow whatever government/venue guidelines are in effect at the time of the event. As of 11/13/22 there are NO COVID RESTRICTIONS in Sacramento.

#2. We are asking all attendees to provide a written negative Covid test result taken within 72 hours of the event. Please send us a photo of test results with the date to orion at 831-201-8466.

You may not attend this event if you have tested positive for Covid, have been near someone who has recently tested positive, or if you have Covid-like symptoms. Please let us know and we can transfer your ticket until you're feeling better.

#1. For all other events - We are asking all attendees to bring proof of a Negative Covid test result taken within 48-72 hours of the event.  Please bring this result with you on Friday night at check-in. This result can be in the form of an email or a photo on your phone, or print out, which includes your name, date, and time of test. Thank you. For California events, it is acceptable to send in a photo of any type of test with your name, the date and time the test was taken

#2. Post Testing, you are requested to be Covid Conscious. This means choosing to not be in large groups of people, masking while traveling, and limiting your social engagements. We are endeavoring to create a Safe Container and for the Weekend to keep ALL participants as Safe as we Possibly can. Thank you for your cooperation.

#3. If you have recently had Covid, you must be at least 7 days out from your last Positive Test.

#4. You may not attend this event if you have tested positive for Covid within the last 7 days, have been near someone who has recently tested positive, or if you have Covid-like symptoms. Please let us know and we will refund or transfer your tuition to a future seminar.

#5. In regards to vaccinations/masking/social distancing, we will follow whatever Local Government guidelines are in effect at the time of the event. 

#6. Once you’ve registered, you will receive a Welcome Email Letter that will include all of the logistics for the Weekend, including Covid Guidelines, along with An Assumption of Risk and Waiver of Liability Relating to Cooronoviris/COVID-19 that we will ask you to sign and return prior to the start of the Seminar.

In the event we have to cancel a seminar, we will notify you and offer a full refund of tuition paid to date. If we cancel an event 60 days or more ahead of time, we are not responsible for any airfare or lodging related charges or losses.
